Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament Timothy Bosire has criticised Jubilee administration for not initiating 'meaningful' development projects in Gusii region since it came to power in 2013.
The ODM National Treasurer told Daily Nation that the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led government has blacklisted the region and its only taking credit of projects started during the grand coalition government as it tries to seduce voters from the region ahead of 2017 polls.
“These Jubilee leaders are running scared. But to tell people that Jubilee is building roads that were commissioned by the grand coalition government is the height of massive deception,” Bosire said on Monday.
He dismissed Jubilee’s foray into Gusiiland saying it is inconsequential while insisting that the region is firmly behind CORD.
Bosire stated that the region will vote overwhelmingly in 2017 for Opposition to oust President Kenyatta and DP Ruto out of power.
“Our people are still firmly in the CORD coalition and no amount of political gimmicks from Jubilee can convince them that the party is right for them,” the MP was quoted by Daily Nation.
