The governor, who speaking during the Machakos Gubernatorial debate, exuded confidence that he will retain his seat when that time comes.
The outspoken governor also rubbished claims that Wiper commands a lot of support in the region as we head into the elections.
“Wiper does not have a wave. It has a wave may be in Kitui, Makueni but not in Machakos. This is basically because of the issue a scorecard wananchi have seen what can happen and how their lives can change and so when I go to the villages when I see the old ladies, when I see the support of young men they can see this is a man with an agenda,” he said.
The county boss pledged to improve the lives of the residents by initiating more projects in the region if he retains power. Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti and Bernard Kiala were missing in the debate.
Jubilee aspirant Mr Muia also took part in the debate. He said he wants to replace Mutua because of their different styles of leadership. The aspirant seemed to agree with the incumbent on almost everything.
