Renowned blogger Robert Alai sensationally claims that opposition leader Raila Odinga will lose his 2017 presidential bid due to unpreparedness.
Alai says Odinga was not ready to invest in a system which beats rigging should internet fail during 2017 transmission of results.
Alai, a former ODM blogger, has been under immense criticism from a section of opposition supporters who accuse him of double speak.
“One of the differences I had with Raila was in regards to preparation to have his presidential campaign operate as usual if internet was shut down,” Alai wrote on his Facebook account.
“Instead of investing on a system which beats rigging, we focused on personalities heading IEBC. Even if he makes his brother Oburu Oginga chair of IEBC, there is no way he can win. When you tell him that, you become a bother,” he added.
Prior to his fallout with the opposition, Alai is understood to have held a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House.
