[Photo|PSCU]It is official that former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar Hassan, has joined Jubilee Party.Omar defected from Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Democratic Movement, after resigning as the Secretary-General of the party, days after losing his gubernatorial bid to incumbent ODM's Ali Hassan Joho.He cited lack of support from his party leader, and the party's alleged poor leadership. He disclosed reasons as to why he dumped the Opposition's NASA coalition, saying he can not have NASA leader Raila Odinga as the president, and Joho as his governor.Speaking when President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy President William Ruto issued title deeds to three schools and two groups in Mombasa, Omar defended his petition against Joho, saying he would vie on a Jubilee Party ticket, if court nullifies Joho's win.He noted he will agree with Jubilee's Suleiman Shahbal, who came second, on who between them will have better chances of beating Joho, in case of nullification."I welcome you in our team, bring your problems to us, lets us work together and see how we can help our people," Uhuru told him, during a rally at Serani Grounds, Sunday.
