After increased accusations of betrayal to the Kamba MPs who defected to the Jubilee Party, Mbooni MP has risen to reveal why he took a decision to ditch the Wiper Democratic Movement claiming that the Kenyan constitution gives freedom to everyone to be in a political party of their choice.
"Kenyan constitution gives freedom to everybody to be on the side of his or her choice. In Ukambani, we have MPs from Muungano, CCU, Wiper and many other political parties and so in the parliament too. So it's our constitutional right to say that we don't want to remain in wiper and no one should be unhappy about our decision to join Jubilee," said the MP when speaking at an interview in Mbaitu Fm on October 27.
Kisoi also went ahead to defend his action by claiming that since 1963 Kalonzo himself has had freedom to join many parties until now he is in Wiper. He added that there was a possibility for the Wiper leader to move and join another party in future.
