The former Gatanga MP spoke on this while appearing on Kameme FM where he asked the people of Kenya not to judge him by what happen in 2013 because it was simply guided by the politic of the day.
He also said the matter is now water under the bridge since the electorate went ahead and chose Uhuru instead of him and also reiterated the fact that in politics there are no sworn enemies.
Peter Kenneth and President Uhuru Kenyatta"Uhuru ran against Kibaki in 2002 and later ended up as the Deputy Prime Minister in Kibaki's government. I ran in 2013 and the contest was decided by the people," he said.
The sentiments by Kenneth come in days after Nairobi Senator who is also a contender for reigns at City Hall termed the former MP as a Judas after he ran against the incumbent president.
Sonko even promised never to step down for Kenneth unless he comes out and apologises publicly for running against Uhuru.
