Governor Alfred Mutua has requested Machakos voters to give him a second term to serve them. The governor said that everything needs time and that is why even God did not create the universe in a single day. He stated that he needs more time to complete his projects in Machakos.

“Even God used six days to complete his creation. You cannot do everything within a single day. This is why I need another term,” Governor Mutua said.

Mutua lashed at his able competitor Wavinya Ndeti for doctoring nomination results against Bernard Kiala. The governor said that despite her win in two nominations, she messed with the figures.

He pointed out Senator Muthama’s exit as enough evidence against Wavinya. Mutua accused the former Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) boss of mastering the art of illegally selling land in Machakos.

The governor also outlined his achievements in the county. He said water supply under his administration is now better than it has been improved since independence. There are boreholes dug to supply clean water and the road network is better compared to other counties.

The Chap Chap leader pointed out that he has also improved how talent is natured in Machakos County among other achievements.
