Embakasi East parliamentary aspirant Babu Owino has spoken for the first time after wining the ODM primaries in the area with over 6000 votes in the Sunday exercise.
Unlike other aspirants who celebrate after wining the hotly contested primaries, Babu said he was dissapointed by how the exercise was conducted, since he felt like he would have won with more votes than 6000.
"My votes are 6000, my closest opponent garnered 1000 votes but I am dissapointed because some of my votes were stolen. Those opponents rigged a lot. The opponent with 1000 votes should have gotten only 392 only. We have more spoilt votes. I really regret," said Babu.
Babu also stated that he was poised to win the ticket by bullet or ballot a statement that is perceived as inciting.
"I stated in my Facebook page I must win the seat for Embakasi East by bullet or ballot, that is how it is. And you know me I am not scared of anything and that is Babu Owino. Had we not got it by ballot we would have got it by bullet," he said.
