Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant and Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has pushed his quest to take over City Hall to higher grounds as he seeks to win over supporters of opposition coalition NASA.

Sonko said he has outermost respect for NASA supporters because he believes politics is not about being enemies to each other thus he reserves good working relationship with the opposition followers.

"Do you think my fans in NASA strongholds should defect to Jubilee or remain in NASA," said Sonko on his official Facebook page.

"I believe siasa sio vita or audau that's why I can't allow mtu kuchoma t-shirt ya chama ingine. One Kenya one love," he added.

The senator is set to face off with former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth, former Starehe law maker Margaret Wanjiru for the Jubilee Party ticket  before facing ODM Governor Evans Kidero in the quest for Nairobi's top seat.
