International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Ethics committee is in the country, as they plan on carrying out more investigations on the suspension of athletes.
According to reports, representatives of the world body have been in the country to carry out investigations on three suspended former Athletics Kenya officials.
The three were suspended in 2015 over allegations of subverting doping process int eh country.
The three are Isaiah Kiplagat (now deceased), Vice-president David Okeyo and former treasurer Joseph Kinyua - for six months.
AK Chief Executive Officer Isaac Mwangi was also suspended over the same allegations, albeit for six months.
“The officials were in Eldoret last week and they met key AK officials and some of the suspended officials on Monday this week, they have instructed AK officials not to talk about the hearing until the right time,” said a source that spoke to the Nation.
