Ngure notes that it will not be easy to impeach the Jubilee governor.

He says that governor Sonko enjoys a cordial relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to the analyst, impeaching Sonko will be the beginning of President Kenyatta's failure in his 'Big four' agenda.

Ngure says that while Sonko's approach on issues might be different from what the president what's, the governor has a cordial relationship with him.

The analyst says that Sonko's influence in the city politics cannot be under-rated.

"I don't think impeaching governor Sonko will be an easy task and could backfire and cause president Kenyatta's government trouble" he said.

Ngure said that issues surrounding Sonko's performance as Nairobi governor are immense and cannot be dealt with through impeachment threats.

He said that governor Sonko has nothing to lose and will create bigger trouble if the plot to send him packing succeeds.

Ngure says that Sonko's last week move to nominate lawyer Miguna Miguna, his fierce critic was a warning shot that he is ready for anything.

He said that the Nairobi governor must be left alone and given time to sought out issues facing the city.

There are claims that Jubilee party could initiate an impeachment motion against Sonko.

Last week, Jubilee chairman Mr Murathe confirmed to some media outlets that indeed a plan to send Sonko packing is in the offing.

Murathe said that Jubilee party is dissatisfied with Sonko's performance as Nairobi governor.

Already several politicians have reacted differently to the alleged plot to send Sonko packing.

Other political pundits observe that it will be easy to send Sonko home since President Uhuru Kenyatta led Jubilee party has the numbers in both the Senate and the county assembly.
