The Nairobi county boss and Governor, Mike Mbuvi Sonko, took a risk by nominating the NRM's 'General' to the position of a Deputy Governor. The Canadian deportee is feared for his naughty nature of rebelling even his close allies.
Evidently, the self-declared NRM General was resistant to his movement's leader and founder, Raila Odinga. After fighting together for a while, Miguna termed Raila as a betrayer after the veteran moved ahead to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta for a peaceful talk.
After he went it alone - as an independent candidate, Miguna Miguna failed to win in the Nairobi county gubernatorial post. At this time, Miguna was against ODM party's agenda and manifesto.
After the nullification and order to carry out fresh presidential elections, Miguna was just a neutral political analyst who criticized both sides equally - the government and the opposition.
Miraculously, the vocal Miguna Miguna started supporting the National Super Alliance's activities. This was after the second elections that saw Raila Odinga withdraw his candidature. He rapidly moved from the neutral position of independence to support the opposition. He is a political psychophant.
One thing with Miguna is, he likes himself; he volunteers himself and he proposes himself. As seen during the August 2017 campaigns, Miguna termed the other parties' agenda and manifesto as void, only to say that he was the only one with a manifesto. This was not only ridiculous but also hilarious.
Should the Nairobi county boss remain dormant and trustworthy to his DG, Miguna Miguna, he will miss his position come 2022. The ambitious Miguna Miguna can campaign for himself, oppose his boss and take the Governor's position for himself!
What a risk involved in nominating Miguna Miguna as Deputy Governor!
