Popular Musician Charles Kanyi Njagua shed tears after his opponent in the Jubilee Starehe constituency primaries, Maina Kamanda, was declared winner.

Jaguar cried after he reportedly realised that the Jubilee Party was not listening to his appeal on the Starehe MP results.

Jaguar and his supporters stormed the Jubilee party headquarters in Pangani, Nairobi, demanding the nomination certificate.

Kamanda was declared the winner on Thursday with 10,374 votes, while Jaguar garnered 8,391 votes.

The musician claimed that Jubilee officials altered the figures, declaring Kamanda the winner.

“They have altered the sheets…and the party knows that…hata siongei (I cant talk),” said an angry Jaguar on Saturday.

Kamanda said he was ready to negotiate with the musician.

Jaguar has, however, maintained that he won the elections and will not negotiate with the veteran politician.
