He is traveling from one county to another popularizing the party, taking political bulls by their horns.

The eloquent politician has assured Deputy President William Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta of a huge loss in the 2017 General Election.

He has been in Western Kenya to quell the Namwamba sideshows, in Nairobi to confront Jubilee’s apparent popularity, Kajiado to drum support for ODM and was in Mombasa to confirm his backyard support.

The acceptance Joho is enjoying should force him to spearhead registration of CORD as a party.

If this dream comes true, then Joho is the greatest beneficiary of dissolving ODM, Fork Kenya and Wiper parties.

The first gain will be locking out his friend-turned-foe Senator Hassan Omar of the Mombasa governorship race.

If the two face-off in the gubernatorial nominations there is a higher possibility of Joho clinching the CORD ticket.

This is the reason Omar is reluctant to accept the dissolution of Wiper and registration of CORD as a party.

On the other hand, Joho will increase his chances of a successful presidential bid in 2022. He will have tamed potential threats from former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka and FORD Kenya's Moses Wetangula.

If they defect from CORD as a party they will have to start afresh on building other parties. This will give Governor Joho an upper hand over them.

CORD will also be a party with a national outlook able to tackle William Ruto in 2017.
