The Governor who is, however, yet to officially declare his bid for the top post is more acceptable as compared to Ruto, basing on his current and past leadership occupations.

Ruto, despite being on his sixth year as the government's co-leader, the nation has achieved close to nothing on many national shortcomings including corruption and violation of human rights.

Joho, on the other hand, will be introducing a new leadership which is yet to be experienced and is likely to be preferred over Ruto and put to the test as Kenyans hope that he will make a bigger effort.

Unlike Ruto who is a hard-sell in some regions of the country, especially the ones allied to the opposition, as a result of his political enmity with the opposition leader and his quarter's attacks on the leaders, Joho is nationally accepted.

Despite having had exchanges with the President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto duo, Joho has not gone to an extent of affecting his bid.

The young Joho is also in a better position to get the majority of the youth vote, unlike Ruto who doesn't fall in the bracket and who has presided over the recycling of retired state officers and politicians into parastatal leadership slots.

Unlike Ruto who is struggling to make inroads into Western Kenya and Coast regions, Joho would readily secure the regions' votes basing on his good relationship with opposition leader Raila Odinga who enjoys massive support from the regions.

Joho is, therefore, the most likely to win should the two faceoff.
