Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi has urged the committee organising  NASA leader Raila Odinga's swearing-in to have the event held in one of the counties at  Coast Kingi says that Coast region has been loyal to Raila for decades, saying that having his coronation in the region will be a sign of his appreciation.Speaking to journalists in Mombasa on Saturday, Kingi said that Coast region has suffered since independence and that it will be a new dawn for the region if Raila holds his inauguration in the region."We are praying that the committee settles on one of the Coast counties as the venue for Raila's Tuesday swearing-in on Tuesday," he said.Kingi said that they are ready for Raila's swearing-in noting that it will be the beginning for a transparent country that respects the rule of law and human rights.Raila's swearing-in is set for Tuesday through the venue remains top secret.Sources within the NASA coalition says that Raila's swearing-in will be held in any of the 13 counties that have adopted the people's assembly motion.The committee planning Raila's inauguration is expected to announce the venue of the swearing-in on Sunday even as the government maintains that Raila's event is illegal, unconstitutional and treasonous.President Uhuru Kenyatta has ruled out holding any dialogue with Raila over electoral issues.
