The Jubilee Party has refused to hold a meeting with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Thursday.
The ruling party insisted that the National Super Alliance (NASA) party must also attend since they also had issues with the commission.
As a result the IEBC has postponed the meeting to next week.
On Wednesday, IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati had called for a meeting with both parties to address issues regarding the October 17 election.
Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju rejected the new team which was appointed by the IEBC Chairman stating that some of the officials were known to be biased.
New members appointed by the IEBC Chairman include:
Marjan Hussein Marjan – Project coordinator
Sidney Namlungu – Head of Operations
Nancy Kariuki – Head of Logistics
Bernard Misati Moseti – Head of Training
Albert Gogo – Head of ICT
Silas Rotich – Head of National Tallying Center
