Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a wants National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga to quit active politics.
The lawmaker says that the former Prime Minister has no chance of beating President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8th polls and should bow out of the race.
According to the Jubilee MP, Raila’s politics is old fashioned and no longer appeals to Kenyans.
“Raila should quit politics or be ready for a humiliating and embarrassing defeat on August 8th,” she said as quoted by The Standard.
Ng’ang’a said that Raila has nothing he can offer the country adding that time has come for the former Prime Minister to go home and venture into other things and not politics.
The vocal MP also scoffed at NASA saying the alliance cannot offer any solution to challenges facing the country.
Ng’ang’a claimed that a Raila Odinga led government will be the worst ever adding that Jubilee remains the better option for Kenyans.
She accused the opposition of politicizing government projects for political mileage.
The Thika MP said that Jubilee is not afraid of Raila’s bid saying UhuRuto will massively win re-election
Ng’ang’a appealed to Kenyans to give Jubilee another term saying the Uhuru Kenyatta led government will not disappoint.
