A political analyst has advised the Jubilee government to drop Garissa  Township MP elect Aden Duale as its majority leader in the 12th parliament if it is keen on safeguarding its legacy.

According to Mark Bichachi,Duale has proved to be a party sycophant who cannot make independent decisions a move he said has seen the Jubilee regime pass very controversial bills in parliament through Duale' stewardship.

He added that the Garissa lawmaker was also to abrasive and arrogant in his approach to issues a move which could further cost president Uhuru Kenyatta his legacy even as he prepares for his final term in office.

"One person that Jubilee should drop is Aden Duale. His approach to issues in parliament is driven purely by party position and not rational thinking.Besides, his abrasive style could further work against president Kenyatta's quest for a better legacy going forward," he told Citizen TV.

Known for his bare knuckled approach to issues Duale has earned both friends and foes a like in his short stint as a majority leader.

While most of his admirers see him as a party loyalist and a crucial defender of the Jubilee leadership his foes perceive him as an arrogant sycophant who does not see beyond party interests.
