Barely a month after President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto snubbed the former prime minister during Madaraka day celebrations in Nyeri, Mishi Mboko has hit out at the two leaders for attempting to silence Raila and other opposition leaders from telling Kenyans the truth because they fear the consequences of the same.

Mboko, a strong supporter of the former prime minister, said that Jubilee wants Kenyans to remain unenlightened on different issues so that they can continue swaying them for their political gain ahead of the August general elections.

“They want to stop the opposition from telling the truth, because it hurts them. When you tell the truth they fear Kenyans will become brighter and wiser and turn against the government injustices. They know that when Kenyans know the truth they will make sober decisions. One of these decisions is sending this government home. It has failed in all aspects,” Mboko, Mombasa Woman rep said, as quoted by Star.

She also noted that Jubilee is after all NASA Leaders and not just Raila. It is not NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga alone being targeted by the Jubilee administration, they want to blackmail everyone in the opposition.

The remarks of the politician come when Uhuru and Raila have differed over IEBC ballot paper tender allocation.
