As Kenyans continue to question why Kalonzo did not attend debate, The NASA deputy President has been put on the spot for nominating his sister-in-law as the Wiper nominee for the senate.

The nomination of Jane Musya, a sister to Kalonzo’s wife Pauline, has become the talk of social media and other platforms. The little known aspirant has been appointed to join the Nairobi county assembly ahead of the August general election.

The nomination of Kalonzo’s son and sister in law in different capacities has continued to attract mixed reactions from different factions.

Leaders aligned to Jubilee argue that former vice president is misusing his influence and power. Earlier on, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale had affirmed that he will not allow Kalonzo’s son join the Assembly.

The move of the lawmaker led to division among members of Jubilee. Led by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, a section of leading backing the re-election President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto, argued that Kalonzo’s son is just like any other Kenyan. Kalonzo’s wiper has maintained that Kennedy deserves the post.
