Arguments that Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has overshadowed Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka to become the Kamba political kingpin are not only biased but also misguided.
Mutua’s Maendeleo Chap Chap has only won on governorship seat in the 2017 general elections.
Despite much hype about change in leadership, Mutua could not put up a strong fight in different counties. This means that his political party is yet to gain national acceptance as compared to Kalonzo’s wiper that won two gubernatorial seat.
Secondly, in the political arena, Mutua’s highest post is governance while Kalonzo rose to be the second in command hence making him still superior to Mutua as much as the latter still has time on his side to rise.
Thirdly, Kalonzo has been a politician in different times. The Wiper leaders was among the renowned leaders during the reign of former president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki.
The many years of experience in the political arena makes him better compared to Mutua.
Thirdly, Kalonzo has won several international awards because of his leadership skills. The legislator went into the books of history as one of the leadership who brought peace in South Sudan. With such awards there is no way you can compare him to Mutua.
