The Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka risks being struck out as Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga’s running mate ahead of the forthcoming general election as per Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambu.

The legislator, who defected from Wiper to join Jubilee, argues that the Ukambani political kingpin is at risk of not contesting to becomes Kenya’s deputy President if it is proven that he  did not resign from Wiper  to join ODM as Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga’s runnning mate.

“We need to go back and ask ourselves did Kalonzo resign from Wiper to vie as a ODM candidate running mate,” Mutambu posed during an interview on Citizen TV.

Lawyer Judah Kioko and professor Edward Kisiangani also raised concerns over what has happened to former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti, arguing that there are many issues in Wiper as we head to the polls.

"The leader of Wiper Party is a lawyer, how is it possible that they could give Wavinya a party nomination when they knew IEBC could not clear a candidate who belongs to two political party," said Kioko. His reiterated by Kisiangani who said: "I feel justice has not been done. It looks like someone is targeting Wavinya Ndeti," said Kisiangani.
