[Photo|Raila Odinga]Critics of the National Super Alliance (Nasa), took to social media, attacking presidential running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka, Friday. This is after a photo, showing Kalonzo displaying a mobile paybill number which Kenyans can use to support the coalition in its campaign, by fundraising, went viral.Kalonzo was seen displaying the number, at the Okoa Kenya Offices in Lavington, during a press briefing, flanked by presidential candidate Raila Odinga. However, critics on social media, especially on Twitter, attacked the WDM-K party leader, saying Odinga had 'reduced him into a beggar' and or a 'flower girl'.
According to them, it was shameful for Kalonzo to carry and display the paybill and bank account numbers, since he was at the same level with any other Nasa principal. At the same time, they faulted Nasa for asking Kenyans to support its campaign ahead of the fresh October 17 presidential election.Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju wandered why a Kenyan should fund Nasa, saying they failed to account for the monies they collected during a teacher's strike, and those for adopt-a-polling station in the August 8 elections.
