Mutambu claims that Kalonzo will be rendered politically irrelevant once the National Super Alliance (NASA) loses to Jubilee in the August 8 polls.
The rebel MP claims that Kalonzo does not have the influence and numbers to ascend to presidency in 2022.
Speaking during an interview on K24 on Tuesday, Mutambu said that the Wiper leader dug his own political grave when he decided to work with NASA’s presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga.
He claimed that Raila has manipulated Kalonzo and made his a political sycophant.
Mutambu said that Kalonzo is a soft politician who has been manipulated by ODM and other NASA affiliate parties.
“The problem with Kalonzo Musyoka is that he is too soft and has been made to dance to Raila's tune every time and then,” he said during the interview.
Mutambu said that the Kamba community has lost faith and hope in Kalonzo.
He added that Kambas are ready to chart their political destiny without Kalonzo in the picture.
“The journey for the Kamba nation liberation has started and this major reason why we will be supporting Jubilee’s re-election in August,” he said.
Mutambu said that Kalonzo is to blame for the sorry state the Ukambani region is in today.
He claimed that despite the Wiper leader serving in government for decades he has not been able to improve the living standards of the locals.
The rebel MP asked Kambas to make informed choices and vote out politicians who only pursue to fulfill their personal interests.
