Removing your underwear before bed time improves sleep quality. Women from this community sleep without pants in order to ensure that they are comfortable. The quality of sleep is not only determined by the underwear, but also other factors including your general health.

According to the Journal of Diabetes, cooler sleeping helps you maintain your weight. Some women from the Kamba community decide to sleep without their underwear in order to control their weight. 

3. They want to release their hormones

Skin to skin contact during sleep releases different hormones including Oxytocin. Women from Ukambani prefer sleeping without underwear in order to get contact with their partners for the release of different hormones.  The hormones also contribute towards their well being. 

4. They want to keep their vaginas healthy

Underwear normally harbor harmful bacteria. It is recommended to remove the pants in order to keep away the harmful microorganisms. A good number of women from this community always remove their pants to keep the bacteria at bay.
