Former Citizen TV news anchor Julie Gichuru has been trending since Wednesday evening, after a series of tweets on peace attracted criticism.
Kenyans once again attacked Gichuru, after she took to social media to touch on politics.
People have been attacking the journalist ever since she declared she's endorsing President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Many believe Gichuru, the Africa Leadership Dialogue TV show host, should not comment on politics.
Some believe she has been paid to push the peace agenda and that it's not coming straight from her heart.
“I shout peace from the mountains I preach peace in the caves through peace we shall find equity & justice, I sing peace, blessed peace,” went her prayer on Twitter.
Mwinyi Gakuria @gakuria I'd rather you go to those mountains and caves and instead of preaching peace (to the already peaceful), preach Good Governance.
Kamau Mwaniki @kharma007 this peace sermons look choreographed, whoever commits an injustice causes conflict. Amani haiji ila kwa ncha ya upanga.
Gichuru however tried to fight back, holding on to her stand.
Julie Gichuru ✔ @JulieGichuru The chicken and the egg. BUT violence is a LAZY option driven by BAD leaders who do NOT CARE about DEATH/SUFFERING in their quest for power.
