This has brought about more development for the common mwananchi as compared to when Kenyans entirely depended on the national government.

The development in counties has not been without its fare share of challenges which ranges from striking health workers, county councils as well as corruption cases

The survey also shows that Kenyans fell that a great share of the government revenue should be sent to counties so as to open up the county governments economically

According to the survey, most Kenyans feel that most legislators do not understand the constitution thus the numerous amendments some which threaten the constitution like the Sijeny Bill which has failed to pass even after lobbying in the Senate and the National Assembly.

Interesting to note 81 percent of Kenyans interviewed are keen to see the implementation of the constitution while only 18 percent are satisfied with its current implementation.
