Controversial Gatundu South MP now urges Opposition leader Raila Odinga to retire from politics and relocate to his Bondo house to take care of his grandchildren.
Kuria said due to his age, Raila should be busy planning of retirement as opposed to vying for political seats.
Speaking Sunday in Nakuru town where he accompanied deputy President William Ruto, Kuria called on Raila to learn from President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto who will retire at the ages of 61 and 66 respectively.
"If Uhuru will retire at 61 and Ruto at 66, then how can Raila expect to be elected at the age of 71?" he posed.
"Raila should retire and go home so that he can take care of his grandchildren," he added.
Calling Raila his best friend, Kuria said that the current Kenya needs youthful leaders and he should count himself out.
"My good friend has tried so many times but it seems that luck has not been on his side. He is a good person but luck has not been on his side and he should allow young blood to lead this country," said Kuria.
