With the recent political activities in Garissa County, it can now be hypothesized that a win for the incumbent Township MP Aden Duale will be a massive blow to Farah Maalim and also Nathif Adam Jama.
The county's political scene has been aligned to appear as an antagonistic play between a one Duale, Korane camp and an opposing Maalim, Jama side.
The fact that the two camps have a defending aspirant and an hopeful has aggravated the rift. Similarly, the fight is between the ruling coalition and the opposition.
Duale and Korane are both allied to the Jubilee coalition while Farah Maalim and Nathif are in the opposition. With this, it is obvious that a win for one aspirant is definitely a win for the other hopeful in the similar category.
This notwithstanding, both camps have exploited a strategy of blame game and political propaganda aimed at drumming support for themselves and similarly faulting their opponents.
For instance, Duale's camp has frequently been faulting Jama administration over incompetence as Maalim blasts Duale for alleged sycophancy without significance.
