[Photo/Citizen TV]Politics of the great Machakos county  are getting murkier by the day after Governor Alfred Mutua reveled why he has not been able to provide the sterling promises he had promised the Masaku residents. While speaking on citizen TV on Wednesday night the governor condemned the leadership and members of the Wiper Party which sponsored him in the 2013 polls.Mutua claimed that he had held talks with big business magnates around the globe to invest development projects that will uplift the lives of Machakos resident and make it the next Dubai in Kenya but internal politics within Wiper squashed the dreams."I had held talks with Malik Riaz the business tycoon who built the tallest building in the world and he even came to Machakos and promised to do bigger project, I talked to Ashok Leyland and they had a plan to build a plant in the county so that our young peole can get employment but it is the same Wiper politicians who went to court to contest the development plans," said Mutua. The governor took a swipe at Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and other politicians in the party saying they cared more for their own development rather than the common mwanainchi."You can even see their selfishness, some are even pushing for EALA jobs for their children," said Mutua.
