Machakos County is a small corner of paradise on earth. The rapidly tarmacked, the people’s park and tap water in homes make this county worth visiting. The incumbent county boss Dr. Alfred Mutua deserves credit for transforming the region into a global spanning conglomeration.
Today, county bosses from all over the nation are using Machakos as a place for benchmarking. The county made history when it hosted this year’s Cecafa competitions. Thousands of Kenyans from different parts of the name filled the Machakos Stadium where Harambee Stars bagged the trophy following thrilling penalty shootouts.
Forget about the dry and dusty greens that were in the region a few years ago. As we speak, green is green in Machakos county. It is in order to say that the residents of the county have reaped big from the fruits of devolution. Recently, Mutua launched a multimillion kitty to fund students who excelled in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) pursue their dream careers in different fields.
One of the greatest desires of the county boss is making Machakos a better place. He has assured the residents that he re-election was not a grave mistake as his opponents might term it.
