Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has said that a woman is the best replacement for incumbent Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua ahead of the August election.
According to Wavinya Ndeti, a woman understands the needs of the people more than a man does.
The outspoken politician has affirmed that she will take care of the resources of the region once she ascends to power in August.
“A county is like a home, normally under the management of a woman. We are requesting men to give the management of Machakos to a woman and I will manage the resources allocated to us prudently,” Ndeti says.
Wavinya Ndeti has been launching attack after attack against Mutua. The former MP has been criticizing the governor for failing to keep his promises.
On his part, Mutua is confident that he will beat all his rivals hands down when that time comes.
Mutua parted ways with Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and former his political party, Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement (MCC). The governor will be defending his seat using the MCC ticket.
