ODM Chairman John Mbadi now wants all MPs elected on the party ticket to suspend parliamentary duties in the next four days and focus on voter registration

His remarks come after IEBC released its latest voter registration update that showed opposition strongholds lagging behind in registration.

And on Thursday, Mbadi urged all MPs to return to their constituencies and help make use of the remaining period.

“I want all MPs elected on ODM to suspend parliamentary duties and go to their constituencies. We have not done well in voter registration,” he said.

The Suba MP added: “We need numbers and the four days can make a huge difference. I am happy that a number of them have already responded.”

The opposition team under the leadership of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been traversing the country urging people to register in numbers.
