Former Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has'resurfaced' after disappearing from the public limelight following his defeat in last year's poll and the subsequent court battle to challenge his successor Elisha Odhiambo's election.
Midiwo, who is one of the high-profile politicians who were sent packing by political greenhorns is seemingly reinventing his political career ahead of the next election if his recent activities are anything to go by.
Over the past few days, the former lawmaker who represented Gem for three uninterrupted terms has increased his presence on the ground where he has been very active leading fundraisers in his constituency.
Over the weekend, during one of the fundraisers, he openly hit out at Odhiambo saying that he had failed to fulfill his pledges.
While warning the incumbent of a looming political battle in future, Midiwo said that he is ready to retake the seat if Odhiambo does not work for the people and deliver on his promises.
Being a master in the game, Midiwo who is also NASA leader Raila Odinga's cousin could be ready to wrestle the seat back in 2022.
Well, the game has just started.
