Miguna Miguna hinted on his ambition to run for governor in the 2017 general poll during a TV interview. In the interview, he said Nairobi's Evans Kidero will not stay in office and that he was the force to drive the former Mumias MD out. After taking a sabbatical from executive politics and returning as a flaring politician and aspirant, Miguna is poised to take the county by storm and climb to the highest office. And we say he is the outright next Nairobi governor based on the following strengths.

1. Brave, bold and educated

Miguna is more ambitious, braver and bolder than any politician who is contesting for the post of governor in Nairobi. His bravery is remembered after he penned down Peeling back the Mask, a controversial book in which he attacked opposition leader Raila Odinga. He even went to Raila’s hostpot Kisumu to launch the book despite fierce opposition. This shows that indeed, he is bold and brave. Nairobi's top seat needs such brave people.

2. Experienced in Administration

Miguna has worked as a lawyer in different parts of the world. In the process, he has mastered the technical knowledge of winning any prestigious seat. He will apply such experience to beat Evans Kidero and Mike Sonko.

3. Jubilee Back up

Miguna Miguna was applauded by Jubilee for exposing corruption done by Raila Odinga through his book Pulling back the Mask. He will therefore likely to be supported by the Jubilee leaders to be the next governor of Nairobi County. It will even be a miracle if he doesn't vie on a jubilee ticket, with the government side likely to prefer him to the once vocal but now lackluster Mike Sonko.

However, the above three points will depend on one more factor - how the man sell himself to the public. By surrounding himself with a winning team of any political party, which he definitely will, Miguna will clinch the seat before noon on polls day.
