The ongoing supremacy tussle between Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and Deputy President William Ruto is laughable.

Considering Ruto's position, power and nationwide support, it is completely unwise for the Senator to engage him in a duel as he is higher-placed and is likely to achieve more in the political arena compared to Moi.

Obviously having future political ambitions, Gideon should consider supporting Ruto who is ahead of him politically and emulate and seek his advise, views and opinions in line with his future aspirations.

He should consider the DP his mentor and not competitor.

Rising from a chicken seller to the second most powerful leader in the nation, Ruto has proved his resilience and handwork, skills that would be very useful to any politician.

Moi should also put aside his political differences with the DP and not observe him as a person but as the Deputy President of the republic of Kenya. By so doing, he will realize that the office is a big one and its holder is an important person as well and deserves respect.

Ruto enjoys a massive nationwide backing and brags of a network of hundreds of loyal allies as opposed to Gideon who has only a handful of cronies, this should trigger him into joining and supporting the DP to increase his chances of making a similar achievement in the coming days.
