Moses Kuria, Gatundu South MP is perhaps the most controversial politician in the country currently.

Kuria, a first-term MP has gained notoriety since he became a legislator and continues to face several hate speech charges.

However, this does not seem to deter the vocal legislator as it seems he is determined to court more and more controversy.

The beginning of the anti-IEBC protests a few weeks ago has seen Kuria once again rise to national limelight as he throws all manner of jabs from tribal salvos, political rhetoric to name but a few.

But the question that lingers in many people's mind whenever Kuria is mentioned has always been, is he simply unstoppable? All indications are that he is not.

1. Hate speech charges: If there is one thing that many people expected to silence Moses Kuria, it is the several hate speech charges that he faces in court. He, however, doesn't seem perturbed by the charges and this is evident by the kind of posts he updates on his social media accounts daily.

2. Jubilee sycophant: Kuria is a determined and a committed ruling Jubilee sycophant who is ready to continue acting obsequiously towards the party that sponsored him to Parliament unopposed and its leader Uhuru Kenyatta. Of course he knows the kind of goodies that comes with this servile degree of sycophancy. He can never be stopped by anybody or anything.

3. Fearless: Kuria, simply doesn't give the chills or freak out out on anything. He doesn't care what he says and the consequences it may have later on himself or the country.

4. He isn't a leader. Leaders are born and not made. Kuria seems not to have been born one. True leaders are careful on what they say and the impact of every word they utter. But with leadership lacking in Kuria, you can expect him to continue with what you have known him for.

5. Weak anti-hate speech laws: If we were to go with what the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has been saying, then you don't expect the likes of Moses Kuria to be 'cowed' by the law.

They will continue to say what they want say irrespective of the harm it causes to the national fabric.
