It's time now Kenyans embrace proper feeding habits lest we become an obese nation. This is because the ministry of health noted that a third of Kenyan women are either obese or overweight.

But thinking of it, why are women affected more? You may not agree 100% with my arguments but I also believe you will equally not disagree 100%.

We all know all have seen those women who can't walk for even a kilometre. And if they do, they will be dead panting by the time they reach their destination.

Some of them can hardly bend to clean the floor. That is just how bad it has become for our women.

If we were to be honest enough, we would not be blaming the genes for our weight since that is something we can control.

Instead, we should take responsibility, accept that we have failed on our part to keep our bodies fit then take the next step to burn that fat clogged in our bellies and other parts.

Sometimes women just choose to be too reckless to care about their fitness. They buy all the junk in the supermarkets, do no exercise and they are just comfortable with that.

Some of these women cannot do even some households chores. They sit in the office the whole day and when they get home, the only business remaining for them is having supper and laying on their comfy 6-inch matress! If we can only practice healthy eating habits, we could not be hearing of this.

And eating healthy is not expensive, it's just reducing the amounts of carbohydrates on our plates and ensuring we consume more veggies too.

A lot of fat too is dangerous if you want to stay fit. Exercise is compulsory for the fitness menu. Eat well, live fit and escape obesity and other diseases.
