Gichugu MP Njogu Barua has challenged Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to ditch the newly formed Opposition coalition NASA for Jubilee Party.
Speaking on Friday in Gichugu, the legislator argued that the former Vice President does not stand a realistic chance of getting the NASA Presidential ticket, adding that Jubilee Party is ready to accommodate the NASA principal.
"I am calling on my friend Kalonzo to join JP so that we can build the country together," the lawmaker noted.
He further lauded Kalonzo as a progressive leader in a wrong political outfit.
"I am calling on my friend Kalonzo to join JP so that we can build the country together," he said.
The NASA alliance is a conglomeration of Opposition leaders, including ODM Party leader Raila Odinga, Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka, Amani's Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.
The alliance is yet to settle on a presidential candidate, with all the four principals gunning for the outfit's presidential ticket.
