Mt. Elgon MP John Serut has threatened to mobilize his constituents against the Jubilee administration in the next polls.
Speaking in Kaptoboi Secondary School on Wednesday, Serut accused the ruling party of marginalising his area in matters development, further adding that President Uhuru Kenyatta has failed to initiate any meaningful projects despite the region voting him in the 2013 elections.
"We want them to tell us of any serious project that has been launched here. We have received a raw deal despite the fact that we backed Jubilee," he said.
"Deputy President William Ruto has been roaming between Webuye East and West to fund-raise for various projects but he has forgotten us. It is time they launched projects in this region or I will launch a fierce campaign against them," he added.
The legislator, who was elected on an independent ticket during the 2013 elections made the remarks barely a week after leading a delegation to Deputy President William Ruto's Sugoi home.
