Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has said he accepted to pave way for ODM leader Raila Odinga to go for the nation’s top seat because he has the potential to deliver victory. Speaking on Thursday at Uhuru Park during NASA’s mega rally where the coalition named Raila as their flag bearer, Mudavadi said NASA is his brain child but he decided to hand over the torch to Raila. “It does not matter I had the ball, but I have passed it to a team member at a vantage point to score. We do have a date with destiny and therefore let us all brace ourselves for celebration after August 8,” said Mudavadi, as quoted by The Star. The former vice president also said that the opposition’s new government will create jobs for Kenyan youths once it ascends to power.“It is NASA that will create an attractive investment environment that creates jobs for our youth,” he added. The legislator also said the opposition will transform the education sector through modern technology.“NASA will modernize our education system, and provide technological and scientific solutions to our quests,” he said.
