Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi on Thursday missed a summit by NASA to discuss the controversial ousting of Moses Wetangula as the senate minority leader.

The meeting was convened by NASA leader Raila Odinga alongside Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula.

The meeting was meant to convince senators to reinstate Wetangula who was replaced by Siaya Senator James Orengo.

Wiper leader Kalonzo was later forced to explain the whereabouts of Mudavadi. Kalonzo stated that Mudavadi was held in a board meeting.

"Our friend Musalia Mudavadi is held in a board meeting, that is why he is not with us today," said Kalonzo.

On Tuesday, Mudavadi had announced that ODM was free to move from NASA for its role in the ouster of Wetangula.

The Thursday meeting however,failed to reach a conclusion.

Speaking to the press, Raila said that the senators agreed to take a retreat and resolve the matter.

The retreat is set to take place in a period of 14 days.
