Decision by Ex-Meru Governor Peter Munya to join NASA would lead to imminent loss of Jubilee party in October 17th elections, says Gideon Mamboleo.
In unlikely move, Munya dismissed President Uhuru Kenyatta adding that he will commit himself to ensure NASA wins by landslide.
And Mamboleo says Munya’s force and popularity in Mt. Kenya should it translate to votes, will throw Uhuru to an imaginable quagmire.
“Munya scored well and still claims he was rigged out and this is quite dangerous. His decision to join NASA is a detriment to Uhuru,” he says.
He adds:”If his influence in Meru region remains constant, then Uhuru must quickly look for an antidote. Things may fall apart.”
During formal merger between PNU and NASA, Munya revealed that he will challenge election of Kiraitu Murungi in court.
However, reports indicate that the latest move may have consequences given that PNU is registered under the leadership of Mwai Kibaki.
