Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama and former vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka have to speak the same language if they care about Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga.

Muthama cannot expect Kenyans to trust in the leadership of Raila when he is walking with Kalonzo, whom he has accused of imposing leaders on the people of Ukambani.

The recent twist of events in Ukambani is threatening Raila’s quest to rise to power in August.

The senator seems to be taking Ukambani residents and entire Kenyans for granted. How does he tell the citizens of this nation to believe in what he does not?

The National Super Alliance will be stronger if Muthama changed his tune like other leaders including National Assembly Minority leader Francis Nyenze has done in the past for the sake of the community. Exposing Kalonzo is like exposing Raila because they share the same agenda.

The senator might have a point but it is not going to favor the opposition. As we speak, the senator has made it tough for Kalonzo to field a candidate for the Machakos governorship. Had Muthama addressed his differences with Kalonzo in a different manner we would be talking of a different story. The lawmaker was on the forefront asking leaders to fold up their parties only to attack the party leader in the long run.
