Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has said that Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua should not be allowed to seek re-election because he has failed to clear his name with the Ethics and Anti corruption Commission (IEBC).

Ndeti, who was addressing faithful at the Mung’ala AIC on Sunday,  said that the county boss has spend most of his time at the corridors  of Justice seeking to clear his name from different scandals that have rocked his administrations since he took over office following the last general polls, adding that he is unfit  to  contest for another term.

“We have in the last four years seen him in courts trying to fight corruption cases raised against his administration,” she said, as quoted by Star.

Wavinya Ndeti has been launching attack after attack against Mutua for allegedly failing to keep his pre-election pledges yet he wants to retain his office after August 8.

The legislator, who opted to cross over to Wiper recently, has promised Mutua a dose of his medicine as he seeks re-election. The former MP will be banking on the support of Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka to rise to power when that time comes.
