Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has rallied county residents to re-elect President Uhuru Kenyatta on August 8.Mvurya further accused the opposition saying the leaders let down the region while they were in government.“Those in the opposition did not even issue titles deeds, yet they had the Land docket. We supported ODM, but they have done nothing at all," said Mvurya on Tuesday, as quoted by the Star.He added that the opposition's main goal was to oust Uhuru from power, but urged the residents to vote for Uhuru for fostering development in the region.The governor said the Jubilee administration has issued title deeds, tarmacked the Samburu-Kinango road and also constructed the Shimoni fishing port in the region hence deserves to be re-elected.He made the remarks at the annual polytechnics exhibition in Diani where he also urged politicians to keep peace during campaigns.Mvurya recently decamped from the Raila Odinga-led Orange party to Jubilee Party where he will be seeking to retain his seat.
