Nakuru chiefs and their assistants risk facing the axe if they fail to contain the illicit brew business in the county
Interior Cabinet Assistant Secretary (CAS) Patrick Ntutu has warned that the ministry will not hesitate to sack any chief who fails to contain illicit brews in his/her area.
Speaking in Nakuru when he led officers is destroying over 3000 liters of illicit brew, Ntutu said that some chiefs and their assistants have deliberately failed to actively engage in the war against illegal alcohol and warned accomplices that they will be fired.
The CAS gave the chiefs one month to ensure that their areas of administration are free of illicit brews or else they pack and go.
