A group of elders from the Nandi Community has put on notice members of the community who have been disclosing their culture to foreigners.
The elders have warned the said individuals against returning back to Kenya from where they are currently residing.
According to the elders, the men and women from the Nandi community who flew to the United States of America (USA) and other European countries several years ago have been disclosing highly kept secrets to the foreigners.
The elders have warned that they will administer curses on those found culpable of disclosing highly kept secrets to the foreigners.
Led by Joseph Kebenei, the elders said they will not relent on bringing the culprits to book.
“As elders, we are saying that members of the Nandi Community who reside in foreign countries and have been disclosing our culture to foreigners have been banned from coming back,” said Mzee Kebenei in Eldoret on Monday.
In the past years, the elders said the individuals from the community went abroad and discussed secret matters with unauthorized persons which is illegal and such action would lead to community cutting links with such traitors.
