Delay is among the tactics used when it comes to the political arena. Announcing the flag bearer at this time could give Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya Leader Moses Wetangula or even Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka time to bolt out of the alliance and reorganize themselves. There are possibilities that the National Super Alliance (NASA) is taking long to name its flag bearer because they want to avoid fallout. The Cord leader Raila and Wiper Party Kalonzo Musyoka lineup is likely to be what supporters of the opposition should expect when that time comes. As political re-alignments continue to take shape, NASA cannot afford to lose any of the co-principals nor their supporters. The other day Minority Leader Francis Nyenze was pushing for Kalonzo’s presidency but it looks like everything is already written in the skies. Summoning the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General, Agnes Zani, and her ANC counterpart, Godfrey Osotsi is a tactic of playing with the Kenyan minds. In the last elections, Mudavadi and Kalonzo walked away from Raila when he needed them most. This time round, Raila cannot afford to lose any of them if at all he still dreams of rising to power like he has been claiming.
